When you’re heading away — whether it’s for a weekend, a holiday, or something unexpected — you want to know your dog is somewhere they feel safe, happy, and loved. That’s exactly what we offer with our Dog Boarding service.

At Aunt Sal’s, dogs don’t stay in kennels. They stay in our home, as part of the family. It’s a calm, cosy environment where they can settle in easily, enjoy familiar routines, and feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

We care for dogs of all ages and personalities, and we take the time to get to know their individual needs so we can provide a truly personal, home-from-home experience.

Here’s what your dog can expect while boarding with us:

• Daily countryside and Woodland walks  — usually 1 to 3 hours depending on your dog’s energy and ability.
  
  
• Safe and secure outdoor play in our fully enclosed garden.
  
  
• Rest and downtime inside the home — with their own comfy sleeping spot.
  
  
• Affection, companionship, and structure — dogs are never left alone.
  
  

Because we only welcome a small number of dogs at a time, your dog receives individual care and attention — not just during the day, but all through the night.

Inside, dogs stay with us in the heart of the home. There are no outbuildings or kennels — just soft beds, familiar routines, and plenty of affection. Dogs sleep indoors and are monitored throughout the night, so you can rest easy knowing they’re safe and comfortable.

Outside, we have a fully enclosed rear garden, with fences at least 6 feet high, perfect for supervised outdoor play or fresh air before bedtime.

We maintain a low-stress, family-style atmosphere, where dogs are kept calm, happy, and well-adjusted — especially important for those who might be nervous or new to staying away from home.

Crated Transport for Daytime Adventures

Boarding dogs don’t stay cooped up. During the day, they join in our regular walks and outings, and we often head to new locations to keep things fun and enriching.

Our MOT-certified van is fitted with secure, individual crates, so your dog can travel safely and comfortably wherever we go. Whether it’s a shaded woodland trail or a quiet lakeside walk, your  dog will enjoy a proper mini break of their own.

Before any overnight stay, we have a 3-step approach, so that your dog can get to know us and we can get to know them.
